I generate the errata by copying the picture from the pdf file to a word file and saving it then as gif.

Working on the solution manual

This fall it has to be, meaning this fall I want to finish the solution manual finally. So, I started three weeks ago to go through the material, which my co-authors had produced a long time ago. Currently, I am in chapter 5.

The release has been announced on the department web page

The release of the book has now been announced officially on the web page of the Department of Chemistry.

The first copy has arrived

Coming back to my office today, after several hours of oral exams, I found a box with a few copies of the book.

It is in stock now

I have just received an e-mail from Oxford University Press, that the book is now in stock and can be ordered. So it only can be days until the first copy should arrive here.

It is published in the UK

Today I have received the message that the book is now published in the UK!

The second set of proofs have arrived

Today I received the second set of proofs and managed to check all my corrections. And it looks good. Almost everything was corrected as I asked for. There were only 5 minor issues to be corrected.

So everything seems to be on schedule so that publiation date in July is still realistic.
